Upcoming May 16 will be a work session for the Board to discuss with the author of the CSL Report the "business" the convention center is doing and might expect doing should we build a new convention center. The support from the Mayor of Boise and the CCDC on this project going forward is very much appreciated. We all recognize that this is the economic tool that could propel downtown Boise in the coming months and years. It will create jobs and bring commerce into this community. This is why I ran for the Auditorium District last year....to make something happen on this long awaited project for the citizens of Boise, Ada County, and Idaho. Thanks to all who are involved. As a team we can make this happen.
